At Traverse People Solutions, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in full compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

We collect information necessary to provide recruitment and assessment consulting services. This includes:

  • For Candidates: Your CV, employment history, qualifications, ID number, and assessment results.
  • For Clients & Suppliers: Company details, names, phone numbers, and email addresses of contact persons.
  • Website usage: pages viewed, device and browser details, language, timezone, screen size, and an approximate location derived from IP address. We do not use GPS or ask the browser for precise location.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used strictly for evaluating your suitability for employment opportunities, managing client relations, delivering professional HR and assessment services, and understanding how the website is used so we can improve it.

3. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your information. We only share candidate data with potential employers (clients) or registered third-party assessment specialists (such as Competence Lab) to facilitate your application and evaluation process.

4. How We Protect Your Data

All personal data is securely stored on password-protected Microsoft OneDrive Business environments and, for website usage records, on our own MySQL database. We restrict internal access to your data to only those employees who require it to serve you.

5. Website Usage

When you browse this website we record first-party usage data on our own servers. This includes the page path, referring page, browser and operating system, device type, screen size, language, timezone, and an approximate city/country from your IP address. We use a first-party cookie only to recognise repeat visits. We do not use Google Analytics or other third-party advertising trackers, and we do not request GPS permission from your browser.

6. Your Rights
